Message From Principal Holden

Dear Liberty Community,

It is difficult to believe that half the school year has passed!  We have experienced a very positive start to the school year and look forward to many special events and learning opportunities taking place during the remainder of the year.  On Friday, February 10, we will hold an Academic Excellence Ceremony at 8:30 in our gym,  to honor students with perfect attendance, A and A/B honor rolls, writing awards and other special achievements.  Academic Excellence is not only a ceremony that we hold twice a year, it is something that many of our students strive for on a daily basis.  We have many students who excel not only in the classroom but also in athletic competition, scholastic competition and other extracurricular endeavors.  Please encourage your child to participate in as many school related activities as possible.  We are interested in educating the “total child”.  The faculty here at Liberty Middle school are encouraging each child to read more through programs such as Reading Plus, Moby Max and Accelerated Reader (AR).  When your child says they have no homework, it is always best practice to encourage reading, especially AR.  Thank you for all you do to support the Liberty Learning Community!
